Sammy the Squirrel

Yup thought I'd do a new character. Squirrel this time. Whoever guesses what cartoon character inspired him gets a cookie. ^^ Now for a lil story.

Sammy grinned as he scampered out into the kitchen. The cookie jar in sight on top of the fridge. With determination the lil squirrel climbed his way up onto the counter top and from there managed to get high enough to grab some cookies from the jar. With his catch in hand he hopped down from the counter and dashed off to the living room.

About Twenty minutes later his mom who bore more stripes then her son noticed that the cookie jar's lid was ajar. She knew just what that meant and the trail of crumbs to the living room where she found Sammy coming out from behind the couch.

"Sammy have you seen any cookies? There's a trail of crumbs leading up to here." His mommy asked him.

"Nuh uh mommy." Sammy said as innocently as possible.

"Why were you behind the couch then?" Mommy asked knowing already.

"Um....I was playing hide and go seek with Teddy." Sammy fibbed.

"Oh really? Tell the truth Sammy or you have to go sit in the time out corner." His mommy told him crossing her arms.

"Otay I ate one. But just one!" Sammy said trying not to get in too much trouble.

"Well then seeing as how you've already had your desert now then you won't need one after lunch." Mommy told him

"Awww..." Sammy whined knowing he'd been caught and would have to wait until supper now to have another cookie.
