Polar Pals

Well back when the Holiday season was in full swing I hit on the idea of my own lil reinvention of the North pole and all that so I came up with this. Might have more in this setting to come.

Nesan woke up with a yawn that morning in his room It was early December and things around the were swinging into high gear as everyone rushed about to make sure everything was ready. Nesan got out of bed and stripped off the footed sleeper. He looked to be 7 maybe just maybe 8 at the most and any human would think him just that a kid. A slightly strange one with pointed ears who despite his age was currently changing out of a soggy diaper but still. Of course Nesan being one of the many Toy Elves was older than his appearance let on. Not that he always acted that way of course. All the Toy Elves and even the Scout Elves had a bit of childlike innocence to them though with the Scouts it was more like that of a young teen. Nesan fiddled with his holiday themed diaper taping it into place before rushing around to get dressed. He needed to help get a few hundred game systems ready and later on help with some Sleigh prep. In a few minutes Nesan was out the door and starting down the hall when he bumped into what to him was slightly soft walking tower.

"Woah. In a rush there huh?" The Yeti said with a warm smile. Yeti were a common sight at the Pole a ton of them worked as guards and doing other stuff their strength inclined them for. Of course there were also a few with more technical jobs just like there were Elves that worked along side the Yeti as Guards.

"Hehe Yeah. I've got a lot on my plate today. Ton of game systems and yet another Sleigh check. Wish me luck Karn!" Nesan laughed lightly still having yet to put his hat on.

"Well good look then with that." Karn smiled shakng his head at the lil Elf. "Forget something buddy?"

"No...um...Yes. Guess I was in a bit of a rush. Be right back." Nesan said supressing a blush as he realized in his hast to get ready this morning he'd completely forgotten his pants. There'd be no end to the teasing if he showed up like this. Sure he wasn't the only elf in diapers but there still weren't that many that he wouldn't get teasing for showing up like this. Karn just smiled and followed along.

"I'll wait outside and give you a lift to the Production floor when your done." Karn told him warmly. He just wished his shift would let him be at their apartment when Nesan got up. The little Elf had a habit of forgetting things sometimes.

"Thanks Karn your the best! How about Hot Chocolate and a movie tonight after work? You pick the movie." Nesan grinned as he went into the apartment and into his room.

"Sounds good. I'll be on exterior patrol most of today so something hot will hit the spot. Oh and very funny picking Planet of the Apes last time." Karn laughed as the door closed though he could still hear Nesan's own giggles from inside. It was another frantic day at the North Pole.
